Our Signature Styles are our most-loved, instantly recognisable designs - made to order and one of a kind. Bold silhouettes, exaggerated proportions, playful faux-fur textures.

This is also where you’ll find our signature extras, from hat-n-lightys (light-up hats) to bouncing bunny ears and bridal hats - made for after dark, big moments, and being seen.

Each style has a defined shape and attitude, finished uniquely for you. Choose your colourway, size, and details, and we’ll bring it to life by hand. No two are ever the same.

Fully bespoke

This is where things get playful.

Fully bespoke pieces are designed entirely from scratch - bold, oversized, and unapologetic. Inspired by characters, concepts, music videos, runways, alter egos, and moments that call for something unforgettable.

Think fluffy, dramatic, ridiculous, glamorous, sculptural, maximalist - sometimes all at once. Festival-ready, stage-ready, camera-ready. Always made with care, intention, and a strong point of view.

Fully bespoke hats are one-of-ones, often using reclaimed materials, and designed to be the pièce de résistance of your look. While hats are at the heart of Hat & Spicy, bespoke commissions can also extend to accessories and select garments depending on concept and availability.

Absolutely. Fully bespoke pieces are designed from scratch and can be inspired by references, characters, moods, runways, or a specific moment you’re dressing for

I can take inspiration from references, but I don’t create exact replicas. The aim is always to make something original that captures the same energy.

Lead times vary depending on complexity and current workload, but most custom couture hats take 2–6 weeks. If you’re working to a specific date or event, let me know in your enquiry.

Sometimes. If your timeline is tight, flag this early and I’ll let you know what’s possible. Rush fees may apply.

Most custom pieces are made using up-cycled or reclaimed hats and materials wherever possible. If a design requires something new or specific, I’ll always discuss this with you first.s.

Yes. If you have specific sizing needs, wear wigs, or require space for head mics or hair pieces, just let me know.

Because each piece is made specifically for you, custom couture hats are non-returnable unless they arrive faulty.
